Salary: $160,000 - $190,000 per year
A bit about us:
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Financial Controller to join our team. This is a permanent, full-time position in the Supply Chain industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, with a focus on warehouse operations. As a Financial Controller, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecast preparation, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures.

Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all company accounting practices, including accounting departments, preparing budgets, financial reports, tax and audit functions.
2. Direct financial strategy, planning and forecasts; conferring with CEO, CFO and senior management.
3. Study, analyze and report on trends, opportunities for expansion and projection of future company growth.
4. Monitor and confirm financial condition by conducting audits and providing information to external auditors.
5. Manage and monitor all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements.
6. Maintain internal control safeguards for the receipt of revenue, costs and both team and organizational budgets and actual expenditures.
7. In conjunction with the CFO, coordinate all audit activities.
8. Evaluate and oversee all benefits negotiations, thus providing the most competitive packages for company employees.
9. Oversee and support accounting team with dynamic leadership that creates an environment of trust and productivity.
10. Coordinate and strategize the supply chain and warehouse operations to ensure optimal financial performance.
11. Develop and implement financial strategies to support company growth and profitability.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field.
2. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is a plus
3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior finance role preferably in the Supply Chain or Manufacturing industry.
4. Proven experience in financial management.
5. Strong knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
6. High level of proficiency in financial reporting applications and ERP systems.
7. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
8. Strong analytical skills and experience translating a strategic vision into an operational model.
9. An effective communicator at all levels in the organization, with strong oral, written and persuasive skills.
10. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
11. Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills.
