Financial Accounting Analyst

Our client, a leading organization in the healthcare insurance industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Financial Accounting Analyst to join their team. As a Financial Accounting Analyst, you will be an integral part of the Finance Department supporting financial reporting, investment accounting, and tax activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate analytical thinking, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach, which will enable you to thrive within a collaborative and dynamic environment.

Location: Meridian, Idaho 83642

Pay Range: $45-50/hr.

Job Type: W2 Contract with the potential to hire or extension

Duration: 4/13/2026 – 7/31/2026

What's the Job?

• Support the preparation of financial statements, insurance industry financial reports, and tax filings
• Research and interpret complex accounting guidance on investment and financial issues
• Perform a variety of accounting tasks including data analysis and input into accounting software
• Prepare monthly reconciliations and analyze variances to ensure accuracy
• Assist in the preparation of schedules for internal and external audits

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting or financial analysis
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA certification is required
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with accounting software and financial reporting tools
