Job Description

A well-established local concept is seeking a Head Chef to take full ownership of a high-volume, scratch-driven kitchen. This role is ideal for a strong culinary leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can execute large functions seamlessly, and is passionate about building and leading high-performing teams.

We’re looking for a chef who leads from the front—someone who is organized, driven, and sets the standard for food quality, consistency, and execution every day.

What You’ll Do

  • Oversee all back-of-house operations with full accountability for performance
  • Lead high-volume service and execute large-scale events/functions
  • Build, train, and develop a strong BOH team and leadership bench
  • Manage food cost, labor, inventory, and ordering
  • Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation standards are met
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment
  • Partner with FOH leadership to deliver an exceptional guest experience

Head Chef Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Head Chef, Executive Chef, or strong Sous Chef ready to step up
  • Full-service restaurant experience required
  • Proven success in high-volume operations ($2M+ annual sales)
  • Strong leadership presence with a hands-on, team-first approach
  • Results-driven with strong organizational and operational skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
  • Passion for hospitality, food quality, and team development
