Job DescriptionMaster's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time, itinerant school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available supporting elementary and middle school students in Stafford, VA. This contract role offers a caseload that typically ranges around 50 students, never exceeding 55, providing a manageable and focused workload across multiple school settings.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to elementary and middle school students.
- Collaborate with educators and other professionals to support student communication needs.
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized plans, and document progress.
- Adapt therapy techniques to suit a diverse pediatric caseload within a school environment.
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working with pediatric populations is required.
- Prior school-based experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to manage a caseload combining elementary and middle school students.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Location:
