A bit about us:

We are seeking an experienced Power Distribution Line Lead to oversee daily production activities within an electrical assembly environment. This individual will lead a team responsible for assembling electrical power distribution equipment, coordinating workflow, ensuring quality standards, and meeting production deadlines.

This role requires a strong mix of hands-on assembly experience, electrical wiring knowledge, and production leadership in a manufacturing environment.

Job Details

Key Responsibilities
Production & Assembly
  • Assemble major electrical and mechanical structures and subassemblies
  • Perform mechanical assembly using hand tools, power tools, torque drivers, and inspection equipment
  • Wire electrical control components while ensuring proper workmanship and functionality
  • Assist with unit testing in coordination with the testing team

Production Leadership
  • Plan, assign, and supervise daily tasks for production personnel on the assigned product line
  • Ensure production deadlines and output targets are met
  • Coordinate production workflow and staffing needs
  • Provide technical direction and guidance to team members

Quality & Process Improvement
  • Conduct or oversee quality inspections and enforce quality standards
  • Implement engineering changes and updates to production processes
  • Recommend and support continuous process improvements
  • Coordinate with engineering to resolve production issues and request drawing updates when necessary

Logistics & Operations
  • Operate forklifts and overhead cranes (training provided if needed)
  • Load and unload trucks as required
  • Assist with packaging finished goods and coordinating shipping schedules
  • Maintain and monitor floor stock of materials

Communication & Collaboration
  • Work closely with engineering, production, and sales teams
  • Participate in project meetings as needed
  • Communicate professionally with internal teams and customers
  • Provide production updates and staffing information to management

Safety & Workplace Standards
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
  • Ensure safety policies and production standards are consistently followed
  • Monitor and maintain shop equipment to ensure proper operation

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in industrial or electrical assembly
  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience
  • Experience working in an ISO-regulated manufacturing environment preferred
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing processes
  • Experience coordinating and scheduling production workflow
  • Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Forklift and overhead crane experience preferred
