Join our team as an Echo Ultrasound Tech / Cardiac Sonographer / Echo Technologist and use your expertise to operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, compassionately prepare patients for echocardiogram procedures, and produce detailed images of the heart for interpretation by healthcare teams.
Minimum Requirements:
- ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac sonography (required).
- BLS certification (required).
- Minimum of 5 years of cardiac ultrasound experience.
- Experience performing transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echocardiograms.
- Comfortable starting IVs and administering Definity contrast.
- Familiarity with Philips EPIQ ultrasound systems preferred.
- Familiarity with Epic EMR preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Sonography or equivalent experience.
Assignment Details
- Facility type: Hospital.
- Shift: Days.
- Shift details: Days 0700-1700.
- Work schedule: Five days per week, outpatient site will vary between Scarborough-area locations; no on-call requirements.
- Expected daily volume: Up to seven full echocardiograms and one limited echocardiogram per day, including completion of prereads on all studies.
- Traveler expectations: Ability to work independently with minimal onboarding; adherence to established protocols, documentation standards, and quality expectations.
