Director of Rooms

Our luxury resort is seeking an experienced Director of Rooms to join our senior leadership team. We foster a collaborative and supportive culture and are looking for a creative, forward-thinking leader to help shape and elevate our operations in a post-COVID hospitality landscape.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel or resort
• Demonstrated loyalty, strong team mindset, and a servant-leadership approach
• Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
• Creative, solutions-oriented problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SMS Host (or similar property management systems)

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all Rooms Division departments, ensuring seamless daily operations
• Lead and mentor department heads through regular check-ins, coaching, and development
• Evaluate, refine, and implement policies and standard operating procedures
• Serve as a key liaison between guests (including VIPs) and hotel staff to ensure exceptional service delivery
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance initiatives
