Physicians and staff work very closely together to integrate all aspects of general family medicine and provide the highest quality of medical services to their patients, ages 18 and up. If you are looking for a close-knit work family and a place to call home, this opportunity is for you!<br><br><strong>This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity.<br></strong><br><strong>Responsibilities of the Family Practice APP:</strong></div><ul><li>Collaborate with the medical director and supervising physician to deliver primary care commensurate with training to patients 18 and up</li><li>Deliver care appropriate for an out-patient, primary care community health center with a multicultural, multilingual patient population</li><li>Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary treatment team to provide exceptional patient care.</li><li>Assist in chronic disease management through individual interventions, clinic support and ongoing education.</li><li>Work collaboratively with the clinic staff to provide high quality, comprehensive primary care.</li><li>Ability to provide a variety of services including chronic disease management, physicals, perform Pap smear/women's wellness exams (WWE), routine check-ups, illness treatment, medication management, etc.</li></ul><div bis_skin_checked="1"><br></div><div bis_skin_checked="1"><strong>Qualifications of the Family Practice APP:</strong></div><ul><li>Current, active, unencumbered Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in state of practice</li><li>Board Certified in Family Medicine</li><li>Strong, recent experience in Primary Care/Family Medicine</li><li>Relevant Master’s degree</li><li>Current Texas valid professional license to practice in respective field</li><li>Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross</li><li>Bilingual in Spanish a huge plus!</li></ul><div bis_skin_checked="1"><br></div><div bis_skin_checked="1"><strong>Compensation:</strong></div><ul><li>Compensation starting around $115K</li><li>Hours are Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM with an occasional evening and weekend (Sat 9-1).
