How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Perform a diverse range of ultrasound examinations, manually maneuvering transducers and adjusting equipment to capture the definitive tissue and body structure images required for accurate interpretation.
• Utilize your clinical expertise to recognize significant structures, artifacts, and pathology in real-time, ensuring that every study meets our rigorous standards for diagnostic integrity.
• Manage the full imaging lifecycle—from ensuring equipment is perfectly calibrated and functioning to the prompt, accurate submission of images and patient data to PACS.
• Maintain a high-functioning clinical environment by implementing safety protocols, performing quality control procedures, and ensuring the department remains compliant with all regulatory standards.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• One or more of the following required:
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist specializing in Vascular Sonography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Registered Cardiac Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Registered or board-eligible for one of following: Diagnostic Med. Sonography, Radiologic Technologist, Sonography, Radiologic Technologist, Vascular Sonography, Vascular Specialist, or Vascular Technologist obtained within 6 months of hire/ transfer.
  • Registered Sonography Tech specializing in Cardiac credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Registered Sonography Tech specializing in Vascular Sonography credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Registered or board-eligible for one of following: Diagnostic Med. Sonography, Radiologic Technologist, Sonography, Radiologic Technologist, Vascular Sonography, Vascular Specialist, or Vascular Technologist obtained within 6 months of hire/ transfer.
  • Registered Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) OR Registered Radiologic Technologist specializing in Sonography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

• High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical certificate/degree required.
