Dental Front Desk Coordinator / Director of First Impressions

Location: Port Washington, WI

Our growing, family-friendly holistic dental practice is seeking a Hygiene Schedule Coordinator / Director of First Impressions to join our supportive team.

Schedule

Full-Time | 30–36 Hours Per Week

Patient Hours

  • Monday: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Tuesday–Thursday: 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM

Staff Hours

  • Monday–Thursday: 7:45 AM until the last patient leaves

Enjoy a consistent 4-day work week with long weekends every week.

Compensation & Benefits

$17–$21/hour (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities

As the first point of contact for our patients, you'll play an important role in creating an exceptional experience.

Responsibilities include:

  • Answering and triaging phone calls professionally and compassionately
  • Scheduling hygiene appointments and coordinating family appointments
  • Greeting patients and managing check-in/check-out
  • Collecting payments and handling patient paperwork
  • Scanning documents and maintaining records
  • Submitting insurance claims electronically through Dental Exchange
  • Assisting the Lead Patient Care Coordinator with front office duties
  • Maintaining an organized, welcoming, and efficient front office

Please Note: We are a fee-for-service office. We submit insurance claims on behalf of patients but do not complete pre-authorizations or negotiate insurance issues.

Qualifications

Required Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of dental front desk experience
  • Experience scheduling in a dental office
  • Understanding of dental treatment and insurance claims submission
