Delivery Driver

Connect Staffing is hiring a Box Truck Delivery Driver for a building materials distribution company in Anaheim, CA. This is a temp-to-hire position paying $23.00/hr with overtime available. In this role, you will drive a box truck to make deliveries, then return to the warehouse to help load and unload vehicles and stock incoming inventory. Shifts start as early as 2 AM Monday through Friday, so flexibility with early morning start times is required.

Pay: $23.00/hr

Schedule: MondayFriday, start time as early as 2 AM, end by 5:30 PM

Responsibilities

Drive a box truck on scheduled delivery routes, delivering building materials to customer locations throughout the service area.

Operate a pallet jack or forklift to load and stage outbound deliveries before route departure.

Unload delivered materials at customer sites safely and efficiently.

Receive and stock incoming inventory shipments in the warehouse.

Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, including fluid levels and tire pressure checks.

Follow all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety procedures throughout each shift.

Minimum Requirements

1+ year of recent box truck delivery driving experience.

Valid pallet jack and/or forklift certification.

Clean DMV record.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience delivering building materials, lumber, hardware, or similar heavy or bulk products.

Familiarity with route delivery operations and delivery documentation (manifests, proof of delivery).

Experience operating both pallet jacks and sit-down or stand-up forklifts in a warehouse setting.

Ability to read delivery instructions and communicate status updates to dispatch or supervisors.

Prior experience in a warehouse receiving or inventory stocking role.
