Job Description

Job duties include operating all equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing product, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, cleaning equipment and facility, delivering product by car to customer's door, delivering flyers and door hangers. Requires valid driver's license with safe driving record meeting company standards. Access to insured vehicle for delivery. Training and orientation provided on the job. Communication skills required to comprehend and give correct written instructions, and to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person. Essential functions/skills include ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, make correct monetary change, enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen, navigate adverse terrain, and perform repetitive tasks under stress.

Work conditions include exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions, in-store temperatures ranging from 36 degrees in cooler to 90 degrees and above in some work areas, sudden changes in temperature, fumes from food odors, exposure to cornmeal dust, cramped quarters, hot surfaces/tools, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Sensing includes talking and hearing on the telephone, near and mid-range vision for most in-store tasks, depth perception, and ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces. Temperaments include directing activities, performing repetitive tasks, working along and with others, working under stress, meeting strict quality control standards, dealing with people, analyzing and compiling data, making judgments and decisions. Standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, driving, pushing, climbing, stooping/bending, crouching/squatting, and reaching are also required.
