About the role:
As part of the Metering
and Settlement Team, the Customer Operations Administrator will;
- Manage a variety of different worklists with a clear understanding of the differences and how to process each effectively to minimise rework
- Resolve any issues or queries as requested to support the delivery of team and company objectives
- Improve our data quality by accurately recording or updating customer and contract data within our systems
- Validate and process change of tenancies, where appropriate adhering to industry and business guidelines.
- Escalate accounts where required to third parties and complete the relevant administration tasks, including accounts receivable tasks such as daily banking, write-offs and suspense
- Co-ordinate lettering and email campaigns where applicable
- Ensure customer accounts are accurate within the system and meet industry requirements
- Work closely with third parties to ensure readings are received to ensure customers’ accounts remain in a healthy status
Who we’re looking for:
To be successful in this
role you’ll ideally have…
- Experience in a customer-focused or administrative role
- Knowledge of the electricity industry and regulatory frameworks (desirable)
- The ability to take ownership and challenges the status quo, delivering right-first-time results and great customer outcomes
- Excellent organisational skills and be adaptable and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
