UPMC Corporate Services is seeking a dedicated Cold Cook to join our culinary team at the US Steel Tower in Downtown Pittsburgh! This casual position will typically work 1-2 shifts per week that fall between the hours of 5:30am-2:00pm, Monday through Friday. Occasional evenings and weekends may be required based on operational needs.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare portions, serve and store items according to recipes production sheets, portion controls and procedures.
- Wrap, label and date all stored food items.
- Maintain work area inspection readiness at all times and follow Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) procedures to provide patients/customers with safe food by properly recording temperatures and following safe food handling procedures, through the use of gloves and properly diluted sanitation solutions.
- Adhere to all safety standards in the execution of job duties.
- Complete all necessary preparation for next day services.
- Use and maintain all equipment according to proper safety procedures.
- Ensure that all food is delivered to designated areas in a timely manner and replenish foods as necessary using batch cookery as much as possible to ensure freshness.
- Report malfunctioning equipment immediately.
- Chill and store all leftover food properly and maintain a cooling temperature log consistently.
- Experience cooking in bulk preferred.
