Conveyor Maintenance Technician – FNL
About the role
FN Logistics runs the Fashion Nova fulfillment center in Santa Fe Springs, and the conveyor system is what keeps every order moving. We're looking for Maintenance Technicians to keep that system running: troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining conveyor belts, motors and the electrical components that power them.
We're hiring at three levels, so whether you're strong with hand tools and electrical and ready to learn conveyors, or you already know conveyor systems inside and out, there's a spot for you. Overtime is available during Peak Season.
Pay and levels
Tier 1 – $22 to $25/hr, based on experience You know your way around hand tools and have hands-on electrical experience. No conveyor experience required; we'll train you on the system.
Hands-on experience with hand and power tools
Electrical experience: basic wiring, replacing fuses, switches, sensors and outlets, and using a multimeter
Able to follow lockout/tagout (LOTO) and electrical safety procedures
Can follow a work order, preventive maintenance checklist or basic diagram
Tier 2 – $25 to $28/hr, based on experience Everything in Tier 1, plus some conveyor experience.
Experience maintaining or repairing conveyor belts, rollers, bearings, chains, sprockets and gearboxes
Belt tracking, tensioning and replacement
Troubleshooting photo eyes, proximity sensors and motor starters
Comfortable doing preventive maintenance on a schedule and logging the work
Tier 3 – $28 to $34/hr, based on experience Everything in Tiers 1 and 2, plus advanced conveyor experience.
Advanced troubleshooting of conveyor and sortation systems in a warehouse or distribution center
Working knowledge of VFDs (variable frequency drives), motor controls and control panels
Can read electrical schematics and ladder logic; PLC troubleshooting experience (Allen-Bradley or similar) is a strong plus
Experience with pneumatics
Able to diagnose root cause, lead repairs on your own and help train newer techs
What you'll do
Keep conveyor lines running during the shift and respond quickly when something goes down
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues on belts, rollers, motors, sensors and controls
Perform preventive maintenance and keep records of repairs and parts used
Follow LOTO and all safety procedures every time, no shortcuts
Communicate with FN Logistics operations and maintenance leads about downtime and repairs
Keep your work area and tools clean and organized
Physical requirements
Stand, walk, bend, kneel and climb for the full shift
Lift up to 50 lbs
Work on ladders, catwalks and at heights; lift (scissor or boom) experience is a plus
Work in a warehouse environment that can be loud, warm and fast-paced
Wear required PPE, including safety glasses and safety-toe shoes
Schedule options
1st Shift 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday
2nd Shift 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM
Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday
3rd Shift 6:00 PM – 2:30 AM
Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday
Overtime is available during Peak Season. Please apply only for a shift and schedule you can work every week.

- Working on your feet at a fast pace for the entirety of the shift
- Comfortable working in an environment where there are forklifts, machinery, large trucks, and other standard or sub-standard warehouse equipment
