Join our healthcare partner's dynamic team and make a difference in the lives of families. As a Labor & Delivery nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to mothers and their newborns, ensuring a safe and supportive environment during labor and delivery.

• Provide comprehensive care to mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and postpartum stages
• Administer medications, including magnesium, insulin, and pitocin drips
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, ensuring the highest standards of care
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver personalized care plans
• Float across all campuses as needed, including Iowa Methodist MC and Iowa Lutheran

Requirements:

• Need 2 years experience in setting
• Experience in Postpartum/mother-baby care and Labor & Delivery required
• C-section and vaginal delivery experience, including triage, required
• Must have completed at least one travel assignment in the previous 12 months
• Active Iowa/IA license or compact/Multistate license required
• AHA/American Heart Association or ARC/AMERICAN RED CROSS BLS certification required
• AHA/American Heart Association ACLS certification required
• NRP certification required
• AWHONN certification required
