Job Description

Warehouse Worker

Under the direction of the Warehouse Manager and Supervisor(s), the Warehouse Worker is responsible for delivering food, beverages, and other products throughout the venue in a timely manner.

Principal duties and responsibilities include:

  • Reporting for scheduled events on time, in proper uniform, with a neat and clean personal appearance.
  • Reporting to main warehouse in a timely manner.
  • Delivering stock to all concessions stands, portables, and commissaries.
  • Helping stand managers maintain adequate inventory levels and performing assigned tasks to help maintain operational standards of the concession operation.
  • Maintaining a friendly, positive attitude and a professional demeanor at all times.
  • Presenting a cooperative work attitude and cheerfully accepting job responsibilities.
  • Learning correct containers and food products used in portables and concession stands.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
  • Properly cleaning commissaries, concession stands, and portables as assigned.
  • Reporting all needed stand repairs to the Warehouse Manager.
  • Emptying trash containers into receptacles and delivering trash to appropriate dumpsters.
  • Using all safety equipment provided.
  • Using safe lifting techniques.
  • Showing flexibility in rotating assignments.
  • Performing and completing other tasks assigned by management.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities include:

  • No experience necessary; orientation and on-the-job training provided.
  • Must be pleasant, courteous, and enjoy working with people.
  • Must be able to work with others as a team.
  • Able to read, understand, and follow written directives and product orders.
  • Must be able to remain calm in stressful situations.
  • Must be able to smile, maintain positive body language, and consistently provide positive guest service.
  • Must be flexible to work extended hours due to business requirements, including late nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be able to make generalizations, evaluations, and decisions without immediate supervision.

Minimum qualifications include:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must be able to obtain CA Food Handlers Certification.
  • Must be willing to work hours that vary, according to the event schedule.
  • Must be able to work eight (8) hours in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Physical requirements include constant standing, walking, bending, stooping, lifting, reaching, and repetitive motions. Able to lift/move up to 50lbs.

Working conditions:

Location: On-site at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, CA.

Compensation: Hourly rate: $25.25 Part-Time Seasonal.
