Computed Tomography Technologist – Travel Job

Become a vital part of a hospital team in Dickinson, ND as an experienced CT Technologist. You will interpret physicians’ scanning instructions, administer contrast materials per protocol, and operate CT equipment to produce diagnostic-quality images for emergency, inpatient, and outpatient populations.

Minimum Requirements:

• 2 years CT technologist experience.
• Completion of a JRCERT-accredited radiologic technology program, or equivalent.
• Current ARRT certification required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• ND state licensure required.
• Experience working independently on nights. Night shift technologists must be able to work without on-site supervision and consult by phone as needed.
• Proven ability to perform general radiography (X-ray) in addition to CT. Candidates must be able to cover X-ray duties, including portable exams.
• Experience with MEDITECH charting system preferred.
• Experience with Siemens CT scanners preferred. Familiarity with Siemens C-arm and GE portable x-ray units is a plus.
• Ability to perform ER, inpatient, and outpatient imaging; cardiac perfusion studies are not performed.
• Orientation availability: able to complete up to 12 orientation hours; number of orientation shifts depends on experience.
• Must meet client radius and conflict-of-interest rules: able to comply with a 50-mile radius restriction and not be employed PRN/part-time/full-time with affiliated systems.
• Preferred: prior experience in a hospital setting and comfort working blocked weekend schedules.
