Commercial Maintenance Technician

Our client, a leading organization in property management and maintenance, is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be an essential part of the Facilities Support team, ensuring the safety, functionality, and comfort of the property. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Location: Old Bridge, NJ

Pay Range: $28.00 per hour + Annual Bonus ($4k-$10k)

Shift: 8am-5pm

Job Type: Direct Hire 

What's the Job?

• Perform corrective and preventative maintenance following all applicable company procedures and safety rules/practices.
• Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, roofing, carpentry, painting, and landscape issues.
• Respond to emergency building system issues on a 24/7 basis.
• Conduct property inspections, monitor work order processing, and coordinate with contractors for outside repairs.
• Assist in monitoring construction management, tenant buildouts, and property renovation projects.

What's Needed?

• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in commercial maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to respond to on-call issues 24/7.
