CNC Machine Operator – 2nd Shift

CNC Machine Operator Requirements & Qualifications


  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2–3 years of experience operating CNC machinery
  • Experience working with grinders (ID/OD) highly desired
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Strong data entry and analytical skills
  • Solid understanding of material storage procedures
  • Good oral and written English communication skills
  • Proficient math skills, including unit of measure conversions


CNC Machine Operator Preferred Background & Skills


  • Experience handling reporting paperwork or electronic data entry
  • Demonstrated ability to cross-train within manufacturing departments


CNC Machine Operator Day-to-Day Responsibilities


  • Prepare CNC machines and related equipment for daily operation
  • Inspect and monitor machinery for safe and efficient function
  • Make necessary machine adjustments and minor repairs on the spot
  • Stage and pick materials physically and electronically, using a bar code scanner
  • Cross-train on all tasks within the blades department to ensure coverage and flexibility
  • Complete required paperwork and data entry accurately
  • Assist supervisor with additional tasks as needed
