Join Barnes-Jewish Hospital, part of BJC HealthCare, and step into a unique, non-traditional RN role where you can make a direct impact on patient experience without the demands of traditional bedside care. In the Hospitality Suite, you will support patient discharge and hospital flow by coordinating transportation, medications, and equipment for patients who are medically cleared, ensuring safe and timely transitions home. You will rotate between two suites (North and South), collaborating with more than 65 inpatient units, as well as case management and social work, in a highly connected, fast-paced environment.
Role Highlights
- Monday–Friday schedule, 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM
- No weekends or holidays
- Non-traditional nursing role with limited bedside care responsibilities
- Focus on patient flow, discharge coordination, and hospital operations
- Highly collaborative with nursing teams and interdisciplinary partners
- Up to a $15,000 sign‑on bonus for eligible external candidates

Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of Med-Surg RN experience required
- BLS/CPR certification preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

To provide the hospital with an additional source of Registered Nurses for use by all patient care areas within Barnes-Jewish Hospital. To provide staffing support that accommodates changes in patient census and acuity. To augment staffing needs during unscheduled ETO when other staffing options are not available. To assist in the cost effective utilization of nursing personnel to promote the delivery of quality patient care.
