Class A CDL Driver - Local Routes

We are seeking a dependable CDL Driver to join our team. This CDL Driver position offers consistent weekday hours, local routes, competitive pay, and the opportunity to expand your skills through training on additional equipment.


Pay - $31.99/hour
Schedule - Monday-Friday
Hours - 4am - 7am start time
Overtime - After 40 hours
Local routes with daily home time
 

• The Truck Driver will safely operate an automatic day cab with 53' and 48' dry van trailers.
• The Truck Driver will pick up and deliver recycled materials within a 50-mile radius of the yard.
• The Truck Driver will complete drop-and-hook deliveries in a safe and timely manner.
• The Truck Driver will use an electric pallet jack when required for loading and unloading materials.
• The Truck Driver will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any equipment issues.
• The Truck Driver will follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.
• The Truck Driver will assist with warehouse duties when daily route assignments are completed.
• The Truck Driver may receive training on roll-off truck operations for additional responsibilities.
• The Truck Driver may receive training on operating a 26-foot box truck for local deliveries.
• The Truck Driver will communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse personnel to ensure efficient routing and service.

Job Requirements:

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience
• No more than 2 moving violations
• Strong safety record and commitment to compliance
• Experience operating dry van equipment preferred
• Ability to perform warehouse duties as needed
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
