Overview
Are you looking for a career where you can truly help people? As our team to continues to grow, we are looking for Claims Officers to join us on our exciting journey.
As a new Claims Officer, you will benefit from structured training programme to get you up to speed on all policies and processes before you take on claims. You will then work on a portfolio of claims whereby you will be responsible for providing professional customer service, through the accurate and timely processing of wage calculations, reviews and back-pays for Employers and Injured Workers.
This role will be an onsite role in our Adelaide office close to public transport. Be part of our growth journey as we embed a positive and collaborative culture and continue to expand our team.

How you'll make an impact
On a day-to-day basis you will:
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to gather information to provide accurate calculations of weekly payments;
- Calculate and update average weekly earnings and back pays in an accurate and timely manner to meet business unit KPIs;
- Monitor, process and action emails received in the shared email inboxes;
- Update and document reporting spread sheets and systems daily to ensure delays are minimised;
- Conduct wage calculations, and / or reviews when provided with average weekly earnings (AWEs) or federal minimum wage (FMWs);
- Audit peer calculations to identify errors and rectify potential mistakes;
- Monitor and complete economic adjustment reviews as per legislative requirements for claims over 12 months of age;
- Collate information and calculate arrears of weekly payments or back pays.
About you
We are interested in hearing from people who have:
- You'll have experience in a customer facing role that could be from an array of industries such as Allied Health, Medical, Hospitality, Fitness or Retail.
- Proficient with the use of Microsoft suite
- Strong administration experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as a team player attitude
- Exceptional time management and organisation skills
- Experience working within a dynamic fast paced environment
