An established upscale restaurant is seeking a Chef de Cuisine to lead a small, high-performing kitchen focused on premium steaks and fresh seafood. This is a hands-on role in a well-run operation with consistent volume, strong ownership support, and a focus on quality and execution.
Chef de Cuisine Compensation
• Base salary around $65,000 with flexibility
• Bonus potential
• Paid time off
• Stable schedule with restaurant open 5 nights per week
Chef de Cuisine Requirements
• Experience in upscale dining, steakhouse, or chef-driven concepts
• Strong organizational skills and high standards for cleanliness
• Hands-on leadership style; works the line and leads by example
• Ability to manage a small team and maintain consistency in execution
• Experience with food cost, inventory, and kitchen systems
• Sous Chef ready to step up or current Chef de Cuisine with similar scope
• Comfortable in a quality-focused, high-check-average environment
