Oconomowoc Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Certified Veterinary Technician to join our team! Our technicians play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care during appointments by coordinating and executing treatment plans and providing thorough client education.
In this role, you will primarily assist during exams and outpatient care, maintain detailed medical records, review treatment plans, and address clients' questions. Additionally, you will coordinate with your team to manage the veterinarian's orders, ensuring the highest level of patient care and maintaining an efficient workflow to keep exams running on schedule. This position is ideal for technicians who excel in client engagement and schedule management.
This is a full-time position, with a 4/10 schedule and availability needed Monday-Saturday.

- Compensation: $20-$22 per hour, for each our worked*
- Bonus package: $2000
- CE allowance: $500 the first year, $1,000 annually thereafter

Minimum qualifications and skillset:
- 1-3 years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting
- Current Veterinary Technician License in the state of Wisconsin
- Proficiency in the following skills:
- Venipuncture and IVC Placement
- Proper patient restraint
- Accurately obtain TPR on patients
- Surgical set up and assisting
- Efficiently communicate and educate clients
