Medical Assistant (Pediatrics)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (some days 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM)

Employment Type: Full-Time | Temp to Hire

About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and team-oriented Medical Assistant to join our growing pediatric practice. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive environment as our current Medical Assistant prepares for maternity leave while the practice continues to expand.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist providers with patient care and clinical procedures.
• Room patients and obtain vital signs.
• Document patient information accurately within the EMR system.
• Coordinate patient flow and support daily clinic operations.
• Provide exceptional care and customer service to pediatric patients and their families.
• Maintain accurate medical records and assist with administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous Medical Assistant experience required.
• Experience with EMR systems required; Athena experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent typing and documentation skills.
• Must enjoy working with the pediatric population.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
