Immediate openings (load pay)

Site: Garden City, GA

Position: Full Time - 2nd Shift / Some Weekends (load pay) HOME DAILY / 100% NO TOUCH FREIGHT

Brief description: Drivers are responsible for transporting intermodal containers from warehouse to customer sites.

Some of the responsibilities/job duties are as follows:

• Delivering van freight
• Delivering container freight
• Managing proof of delivery paperwork from customers
• Following all traffic laws
• Reporting to dispatcher any incidents encountered on the road
• Inspecting the truck & trailer before and after the trip, and recording any defects found
• Keeping the truck clean and in good working order
• Taking the required break during trips
• Reporting any mechanical problems to the appropriate personnel

Requirements:

• TWIC Card is not necessary but highly preferred
• Hazmat Endorsement is a plus
• Smart phone
• Minimum of 2 years of recent driving experience with a Class A CDL
• Must be 25 years of age
• Clean MVR report
• Must be able to pass a drug test
• Weekly settlement by direct deposit
