We are seeking a CDL B Driver for a short-term position in Madison, Alabama, offering $29.56 per hour. This role is to assist while the current driver is out. The driver will be responsible for operating a flatbed truck and ensuring the safe delivery of materials.

About the Position

The CDL B Driver will primarily drive a flatbed truck, hauling underground utilities, pipe valves, and fittings. The position involves 80% driving and 20% loading or unloading at the site. Deliveries will typically average 2.5 hours, with the furthest delivery taking up to 4 hours.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay Rate: $29.56 per hour
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7 am to 4 pm

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver materials as scheduled
• Assist with loading and unloading as required
• Validate directions and ensure material is properly secured
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Comply with all DOT standards and regulations
• Assist in warehouse as necessary
• Represent the company professionally at all times

Minimum Requirements

• 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience
• Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
