TransForce is seeking a CDL-A Vac Truck to support Local operations based in Linthicum, MD.

Temp-to-hire: This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.

CDL-A Vac Truck Driver Details: 

• Schedule: [Mon-Fri (may be an occasional Sat if the is extra work or any emergency response jobs) / 1st Shift / home daily
• Pay: $27 Per hour, $1,300 - $1,400 Estimated weekly pay
• Route Type: Local
• Freight / Load Type: Construction/Utilities
• Equipment: CDL-A Vac truck 
• Handling: Using vac attachment to suck up debris, dirt, mud, water, etc. and will unload at dump site.

CDL-A Vac Truck Driver Minimum Requirements: 

• License: Class A CDL
• Experience: 1+years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
• Endorsements: Tanker (N)
• Equipment Experience: Vac truck, or CDL-A trucks, or tankers.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years)
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements

CDL-A Vac Truck Driver Responsibilities: 

• Safely operate CDL-A Vac Truck on local routes
• Use vac attachment to transport dirt, debris, mud, water, etc from job sites to the dump sites.
• Move different types of equipment around job site as needed.
• Assist crew with different tasks when they are not operating trucks/equipment
• Perform required handling tasks using vac attachment, and pitching in to assist crew as needed
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
• Meet the physical demands of the role, using hose attachment and some physical tasks while assisting crew
