CDL A Flatbed Driver - $26.50 Per Hour

TransForce is seeking a CDL A driver to support local operations based in Detroit, MI.

This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.

CDL A Details:

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6am Start time, 8-11 hours per day

Pay: $26.50 Per hour

Route Type: Local Metro Detroit area deliveries

Freight / Load Type: Hauling steel

Equipment: Flatbed, Automatic transmission

Handling: Strapping and Tarping

CDL A Minimum Requirements:

License: CDL A

Experience: 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience

Endorsements: None

Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years)
Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements

CDL A Responsibilities:

Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes

Transport steel in accordance with DOT and company safety standards

Perform required handling tasks including strapping and tarping

Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections

Maintain accurate logs and paperwork

Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations

Meet the physical demands of the role, including [lifting, climbing, strapping, tarping, etc., if applicable]
