Are you ready to take your expertise as a cardiovascular technologist to new heights. Join our travel team as a Cath Lab Tech (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) in Sioux City, IA, and contribute to a multidisciplinary team delivering interventional cardiac care. Assist physicians and Cath Lab staff with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, operate advanced imaging and hemodynamic equipment, and support patient care throughout the peri-procedural experience.
What You'll Need:
- ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist or equivalent credential.
- RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or equivalent credential preferred. (Preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab hospital experience required.
- At least 1 prior travel contract completed required.
- RT/ARRT or RCIS required.
- BLS and ACLS certifications preferred.
- Epic EMR experience preferred.
- Experience with mechanical circulatory support and advanced cath lab devices including Impella, IABP, Shockwave, Penumbra, EKOS, 3D mapping and stimulation systems preferred.
- Driver's license required.
- Current state licensure as required. Compact licensure accepted as indicated.
- Submit work history/resume, completed skills checklist within 1 year, license verification, required certifications, and one supervisory reference at time of submission.
- Candidates must have a taxable address outside a 50-mile radius of the facility unless otherwise noted by client guidelines.
Assignment Details
- Facility type: Hospital.
- Shift: Days.
- Shift hours: 0700–1630.
- Schedule pattern: 5x8, Monday–Friday.
- Float requirement: Will float Monday–Friday within the same discipline across local campuses.
- Weekend requirement: Weekend call shared among staff.
- EMR: EPIC.
