Join our team as a Cath Lab Technologist (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) and play a vital role on a team that values your clinical skill while experiencing professional growth in Omaha, NE. Assist physicians and cath lab personnel in conducting diagnostic and interventional procedures and operate advanced imaging equipment to capture critical cardiovascular data.


What You'll Need:

  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification required. (Client requires RCIS)
  • BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications required.
  • Minimum 3 years of hospital-based Cardiac Cath/Interventional Radiology experience required. (Client requires >3 years)
  • Experience with EPIC charting and Apollo cardiac charting system preferred. (Client uses EPIC/Apollo)
  • Experience working with Siemens imaging equipment preferred. (Client uses Siemens)
  • Must have prior intra-procedural circulating experience, medication administration, and sedation support in a cath/IR environment.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required state licensure when applicable.
  • Driver's license required at submittal. Candidate must meet a 50-mile radius rule and may not be currently full time, part time, or PRN with facilities affiliated with CommonSpirit (CHI/Dignity). (Client requirement)
  • Familiarity with radiation safety practices. Radiation badge provided by client.
  • Preferred: RCIS required; ARRT not required. (If ARRT held, include in application.)


Assignment Details

  • Facility Type: Hospital.
  • Unit: Cath Lab Interventional Tech.
  • Shift: Days. 4x10 schedule.
  • Shift Hours: 0700–1700 (client notes some shifts 0700–1730; schedule supervisor-approved).
  • Orientation: 1 week unit-specific orientation plus on-call buddy call; 12 orientation hours documented.
  • Call Requirements: Night and weekend on-call coverage required. Call response time: 30 minutes from the primary campus, ASAP to other campuses. Minimum on-call shifts required per client scheduling rules.
  • Floating: Daily and on-call floating to multiple hospital campuses required. Travel between campuses is within approximately 6–15 miles.
  • Number of labs/suites: 3 active suites. Average cases per day: 4–5.
  • EMR/Equipment: EPIC and Apollo cardiac charting; Siemens imaging equipment in use.
  • Dress Code: Surgical greens. Artificial nails prohibited for patient-care clinicians.
