Banquet & Event Sales Manager Benefits & Compensation


  • $50,000 – $60,000 salary (base plus commission)

Banquet & Event Sales Manager Requirements & Qualifications


  • Previous banquet, event, or hospitality management experience preferred
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent hospitality and customer service abilities
  • Highly organized with keen attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask during high-volume periods
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
  • Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules


Banquet & Event Sales Manager Preferred Background & Skills


  • Event planning software experience (Tripleseat is a plus)
  • Wine knowledge and experience
  • Direct banquet sales experience


Banquet & Event Sales Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities


  • Drive growth of banquet and private event sales
  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee events from initial inquiry through execution
  • Conduct site tours, consultations, and tastings with guests
  • Maintain clear, consistent communication with guests, vendors, planners, and staff
  • Provide leadership and direction to front-of-house banquet team members
  • Hire, train, and develop banquet and restaurant staff
  • Oversee scheduling, inventory, and ordering for beverage service
  • Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction and uphold high service standards
  • Support restaurant operations during non-peak event periods
  • Contribute ideas to promote and expand the venue’s event capabilities
