Banquet & Event Sales Manager Benefits & Compensation
- $50,000 – $60,000 salary (base plus commission)

Banquet & Event Sales Manager Requirements & Qualifications
- Previous banquet, event, or hospitality management experience preferred
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent hospitality and customer service abilities
- Highly organized with keen attention to detail
- Ability to multitask during high-volume periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules
Banquet & Event Sales Manager Preferred Background & Skills
- Event planning software experience (Tripleseat is a plus)
- Wine knowledge and experience
- Direct banquet sales experience
Banquet & Event Sales Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Drive growth of banquet and private event sales
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee events from initial inquiry through execution
- Conduct site tours, consultations, and tastings with guests
- Maintain clear, consistent communication with guests, vendors, planners, and staff
- Provide leadership and direction to front-of-house banquet team members
- Hire, train, and develop banquet and restaurant staff
- Oversee scheduling, inventory, and ordering for beverage service
- Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction and uphold high service standards
- Support restaurant operations during non-peak event periods
- Contribute ideas to promote and expand the venue’s event capabilities
