Bellarmine Preparatory School is seeking qualified and dependable Bus Drivers to support our student transportation needs throughout the academic year. This is an evergreen posting as we are continually building a pool of qualified drivers. Transportation needs may include:

• Morning routes
• Afternoon routes
• Evening transportation (athletics, activities, retreats)
• Occasional weekend events

• Safely transport students to and from school and school-sponsored activities
• Adhere to assigned schedules and route plans
• Conduct required pre- and post- trip vehicle inspections
• Maintain orderly conduct on the bus and ensure student safety at all times
• Comply with all state, federal, and local school transportation regulations
• Communicate effectively with school administration regarding route updates or concerns
• Maintain cleanliness and proper condition of assigned vehicle

• Valid CDL License

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age
• Must submit fingerprints
• Must pass a background check as part of employment
• Possession of a satisfactory driving record
• Punctual and reliable attendance

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit for extended periods
• Ability to assist students in emergency evacuation situations
• Ability to perform routine vehicle inspection
