BAY DRIVER

Essential Functions, Duties and Tasks

Ensure new vehicles are driven and parked in assigned areas according to manufacturer's specifications.
Inspects cars to detect damage and to verify presence of accessories listed on invoice.
Move vehicles from staging areas to shipping bay location.
Ensure yard quality standards are maintained.
Train new associates and temporary workers
Must be able to follow directions and consistently follow procedures.
Must adhere to AAR and safety procedures.
Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.
Maintain a positive behavior and conduct in the workplace while acting and communicating with customers, vendors, co-workers and management.
Ability to work in a variety of situations.

General Description

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Must be able to work outside in various weather conditions.
Must be able to move 40-80 vehicles per day.
Walk continuously throughout the day.
Associates must be able to work as a team or individually depending on workload.

Education, Experience and Minimum Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent
Must have and maintain a valid State driver's license and must have a good driving record.
Must be able to drive both standard and automatic transmission vehicles.
Must be able to pass the driver's safety test with an 80% accuracy or better.
