Account Executive - Requirements & Qualifications


  • Proven track record in new business acquisition, especially with a hunter mentality
  • Comfortable conducting in-person and live phone call prospecting and sales
  • Strong relationship-building, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Able to manage both new client acquisition and ongoing relationships effectively
  • Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage an active pipeline
  • Basic Excel, Microsoft 365, and financial understanding (pricing, margins, etc.)
  • Ability to work independently within an assigned territory


Account Executive - Preferred Background & Skills


  • Prior experience in facility services, janitorial, or B2B service sales
  • Familiarity with commercial accounts or contract-based services
  • Experience operating in local territory sales environments


Account Executive - Day-to-Day Responsibilities


  • Proactively generate new business through prospecting, networking, and geographic outreach
  • Build and nurture relationships with decision-makers across property types, including commercial offices, education, religion, entertainment, multifamily, healthcare, hospitality, retail, warehousing, and industrial environments.
  • Conduct site visits, assess client needs, and recommend tailored janitorial solutions
  • Prepare and present pricing proposals as well as service agreements
  • Negotiate contracts and close new business opportunities
  • Partner closely with internal teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and service delivery
  • Maintain strong client relationships to support retention and account growth
  • Track pipeline, sales activity, and performance through CRM tools
